So I explained it to him, probably in a way that was too technical and not expecting him to understand a word I said.

Weeks later, he surprised me when he explained it so well to another kid. He actually understood it.

Unfortunately, he still doesn't understand the concept of the "clean room". And fear not (or, alternately, fear greatly), this child has preferred books to all other toys since she was a very little infant.

She's not a quiet, bookish child however... No, she's a loud, firework-filled, bang-and-bounce-off-the-walls, bookish child.

Tonight we discussed the differences between airplanes and helicopters (she asked), which frankly was something I would have much rather been doing than watching the debate.

Go Romney!

Of course, if there's any country left when my girls grow up, they'll probably just want to conquer it. My oldest is a budding (and quickly advancing) martial artist.

As I said, you've been warned.Atomic Monkeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00754663122892576264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7184892788239700087.post-89434113316664849042012-10-22T19:28:33.003-04:002012-10-22T19:28:33.003-04:00Stealing a book?
