Tactical Nuke: Monday, February 18, 2013

• Oh noes! The sky is falling! After the 500 kt explosion of a meteorite over Russia last Friday, a smaller one in South America, and a big fireball in California, another was sighted in Florida.

So of course, people are freaking out now. Even though the Russian meteorite was a relatively rare event, the other ones are daily occurrences...it's just that people are looking for them now and are a'skeered that a big rock is going to land on their house or something.

People need to get a grip, or else government will try to "do something" about it. And they tend to do more damage than your average exploding meteorite.

• Texas is looking into how it will handle things if the federal government falls apart.

With the way things are going, that probably isn't a bad idea. But I doubt a state like Texas has too much to worry about. A state like California, on the other hand, would probably fall into the ocean under it's own weight without D.C. to prop it up.

• Carry on...and watch out for falling rocks.
