Oh Lord I Want to Be In That Number

Earlier this week, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi described the torrent of unaccompanied minors illegally entering the U.S. From Mexico as a “humanitarian crisis,” and admonished those who would turn them away, saying “baby Jesus was a refugee from violence.”

Of course, to her, a few months prior, Jesus was apparently just a clump of tissue with no intrinsic human rights, whatsoever.

Then, at her weekly press briefing Friday, she noted “They are children,” and asked, “What would we do if Moses had not been accepted by the Pharaohs family? We would not have the Ten Commandments, for starters.”

Meanwhile, this week, about five miles from Capitol Hill, a group of young MS-13 gang members allegedly stabbed a homeless man to death.

about those commandments...

Granted, there may be many innocents among the tens of thousands who have been smuggled into the U. S., but I’m wondering which biblical figures these six undocumented saints represent in Ms. Pelosi’s hagiology.
