I know I'm showing my nerd, but the episode where Picard lives a whole life and learns to play that flute is probably the best in the series. The ending where he plays it in his quarters was about as emotional as it gets for a Star Trek show. Thankfully they got back to butt-kicking the next week with Picard telling aliens to get off his space-lawn.
