• Finally, Friday is here. It seems like it was an extra-long week to make up for the upcoming 3-day weekend or something.
I think someone snuck an extra day in there or something...probably between Wednesday and Thursday. Those people who make calendars are sneaky like that.
• Well, the mystery guest speaker at the RNC turned out to be Clint Eastwood, as everyone knows by now. Did you watch it? I watched the clip this morning.
The crowd had a good time with it, and I am sure it made a lot of Hollywood lefties squeal a bit, but I found the whole thing a little awkward.
Dirty Harry looked a little tired and befuddled to me, and maybe a little nervous as well. Still, it was a much better "speech" than the normal blather you hear from some Hollywood bozo.

all my lefty friends hated it... but we both know if he was at the dnc next week, they would have loved it.
