Tactical Nuke: Thursday, October 25, 2012

• So Arizona is voting this election on a measure to take back all federally-controlled lands in Arizona, including the Grand Canyon.

I'm hoping that passes, even though I don't live in Arizona anymore. Not so much for Arizonans, specifically, but for another victory in states rights. States shouldn't really even be fighting these battles, as the Constitution was written to secure those rights a long time ago.

Anything that takes power away from the federal government and places it closer to home, closer to the people, I am for. So hopefully, Arizonans will vote to take back their land.

Besides, I'm tired of the federal government and the dumb EPA claiming some pretty large chunks of land in America as "reserves" where the land must be kept "pristine". Ever seen some of these "pristine" lands? Out west, there are a lot of them that are nothing but miles upon miles of dirt. Or in some places elsewhere, crappy swamps that are mostly populated by snakes and mosquitoes. These kinds of places usually (coincidentally!) hide lots of natural resources such as minerals, gas, and oil. Imagine that.

• So polls are saying the Romney is tied with Obama in Ohio and Michigan.

If the polls say that, I'd say that means Romney is actually ahead by about 10 points in those states.

• Obama lied and Letterman cried.

Well, Letterman didn't cry, but that rhymed, so I went with it.

Seriously, when even Letterman is incensed about Obama being "untruthy", it's bad.

• Carry on.

  1. I hope you're right about the polls. That would lock it up for Romney.
