Nuke the Punchline: Obama of the Year

Harvey over at IMAO has another straight line of the day up, and so it is time to pick the winners of the last one:

Time Magazine explained that they picked Obama as "Person of the Year" because...

#5 g: ...after naming Hitler in `38, Stalin in `39 & `42, Khrushchev in `57, Khomeini in `79 and Putin in 2007 how could they not?

#4 piratepops: ...what better way to mark the passing of the year in which the world ends than by honoring the world’s biggest failure?

#3 CarolyntheMommy: ...because it was the only way to get anyone talking about/paying attention to…. what’s the magazine called again?

#2 Dohtimes: ...the dognapper’s note told them to.

And the best punchline goes to Manolo:

Time Magazine explained that they picked Obama as "Person of the Year" because in the past they’d picked presidents and even the head of General Motors, but with this choice they got the president AND the head of GM.

Congratulations Manolo!

The best punchline for the last Nuking Politics straight line was from Harvey

"For the end of the world, Obama plans"... said Yoda cryptically.

Congratulations Harvey!
