Nuke the Punchline - Don't Get Her Steamed Up

Harvey over at IMAO has posted a new straight line of the day. You should go check it out! My favorites from the last one are :

Hillary’s campaign has a new theme song…

Honorable Mention to:
Oppo: … to hear it, all you need is a Huma and a few bars.

#5 Bantha_Fodder: ...The Imperial March (Darth Vader’s Theme)
Aside from it being a total dis to Vader, I feel it would be a fitting theme for her

#4 Gumbeaux: ...Devil With the Blue Pantsuit – Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels

#3 walruskkkch.: It hasn’t come out yet, but if you vote for her they promise not to release it.

#2 blarg:... Aerosmith – Dude looks like a Lady.

And my favorite straight line of the day was from rodney dill:

Hillary’s campaign has a new theme song...“I’m a little despot, short and stout…”

Cookies to rodney dill!

The Musings of Anonymiss:

I love Christmas. I especially love Christmas gifts. I think choosing the perfect gift for someone and watching the anticipation and joy on their face as they receive it is one of the best parts of Christmas.

Are you still searching for the perfect gift?
Still wonder, "What should I give?"

Try one of these. I guarantee they'll love it.

This Christmas, mend a quarrel. Seek out a forgotten friend. Dismiss suspicion and replace it with trust. Write a letter. Give a soft answer. Encourage youth. Manifest your loyalty in word and deed. Keep a promise. Forgo a grudge. Forgive an enemy. Apologize. Try to understand. Examine your demands on others. Think first of someone else. Be kind. Be gentle. Laugh a little more. Express your gratitude. Welcome a stranger. Gladden the heart of a child. Take pleasure in the beauty and wonder of the earth. Speak your love and then speak it again.

This is my favorite Christmas quote. I have a note with one of these in each pocket of my advent calendar. Each day, I try to give the gift it suggests.

It has made all of the difference.

What is *your* favorite gift?
