Lady America's On the Rebound

I hear America's pretty done with her current "leader." I understand that feeling. Sometimes a partnership just doesn't work out, and splitting up is the only option. Yeah. I hear you. sister.

You and I have a lot in common.

The whole idea of being with someone else is frightening. We have been damaged. We have been misunderstood and mistreated. We long for a leader that can make us whole...make us great again.

When I considered the idea of choosing a new partner, I was wary. I wasn't sure I knew what I wanted. I knew what I didn't want, though. I was certain I didn't want what I had had.

Things I knew I didn't want:

Immaturity

Lack of Intelligence

Brash unkindness

Selfishness

Of all of the qualities I wanted to avoid, SELFISHNESS was the worst. Someone who is selfish canoot be trusted. He will seek his own interest in spite of the longterm consequences or who it may hurt. I knew for sure I didn't want that AGAIN.

And yet, for some reason I can't comprehend, my beloved country is dating THIS MAN:

I'm just going to say it.

Girl, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING???

Have you thought about what kind of man he is?

Ask yourself this: Would you allow a guy like that to babysit your children?

That's what you're doing if you choose this guy. You're saying you like the idea that he will be caring for your chldren's education - for their job prospects and career opportunities - for their healthcare and their vital ability to make choices.

This man embodies all of the qualities we should avoid. He is selfishness personified. The fact that his egocentric behaviors have made him rich and powerful shouldn't distract us from the fact that he is NOT A GOOD MAN.

He won't take care of you.

You can't trust him.

You deserve better.

Listen, girlfriend. You've been there. I've been there. Don't be stupid again.

  3. When it comes to choosing a good man, "Lady America" pretty much has the contents of San Quentin to choose from...

    2. Just curious, now that he appears ready to endorse the very man you are warning us against, has you opinion of the neurosurgeon changed at all?
