I'm a Big Wuss

Ok, I'm the first to admit that I'm a wuss. I don't like sick. or scary. or gory. or violent.  I just don't. My thought? Why in the world would you choose to look at those kinds of things if you could choose good and happy instead? Horror movies? Abominable. Dissecting a worm? Bad idea. But I recognize that my level of tolerance for the dark things is decidedly below average. I am a self-aware wuss.

But I just watched THIS 

and my eyes are opened.

Basically, some psychologists did some studies and discovered that how easily a person is disgusted is correlated to their political leanings: Conservatives are easily disgusted...liberals are really hard to disgust.  Really?  That makes ALL KINDS of sense:

·         Things Liberals DON'T find disgusting:

•          The enormity and economic implications of the national debt. Nah. That doesn't bug them at all.
•          Gay people kissing.
•          Partial Birth Abortion. It's no big deal. I mean women should get to decide what happens to their bodies, right? Don't be so squeamish.
•          Americans being killed in Benghazi. There are still a lot of Americans left, after all.
•          Making up a story about a youtube video to cover it up. I mean that was kinda plausible...and if it had worked...
•          Invoking executive privilege for the Fast and Furious....well. That is a really cool name. I mean like after the movie? That makes it ok.
•          Biden's condescending smirk. It makes them think fondly of their favorite psychotic auntie.
•          Lying. In general. C'mon. Everybody does it. We have to know our President will lie to us. That's not disgusting. That's just the world that we live in.
•          Madonna naked. Well .... ok. I'm sorry. I can't think of why they don't find that disgusting. Madonna fully clothed frightens me.

Should I go on? I'm sure you can think of many more things liberals don't find disgusting.

But one thing still bothers me. Obviously, I am a conservative through and through. But how do you explain Lactose and Walkingdead?
