Punchline Nuker of the Week: October 13, 2012

Well, it has been a week since the last Punchline Nuker of the Week award was given out, and it is time to pick another award winner.

Or I should say, pick the same winner. Hadsil has done it again for the third week in a row. CTCompromise came out strong to win back-to-back punchlines of the day, but hadsil's tactic of also creating punchlines here is giving him the win, every time.

Congratulations hadsil! Here is your major award, with three gold stars for the fourth award:

I've decided to make things more interesting and change the rules a little bit. Not to stop hadsil's reign of terror as the current champion of punchlines, but to make the contest more competitive. From this moment forth and stuff, only one point will be awarded per day for the single best punchline in response to the straight lines presented here at Nuking Politics, in the "Nuke the Punchline" posts.

So that means you get 1 point for being in the top 5 from IMAO's straight line, an additional point if you got picked as the best. And you can get one more point if you get selected as the best punchline for a Nuking Politics straight line.

Clear as mud? We'll see how it goes.

Winners are selected based on a simple point system:
1 point if you made a winners list.
2 points if you got a "best punchline"
1 point if you came up with the best punchline to one of my straight lines.
