I know you don't like him. I don't like him either. I thought his point about anti-depressants was interesting, however. I certainly don't agree that they are the ONLY factor. Many things affected them. But children are being medicated for many conditions quite regularly these days. Who knows the long term effect it could have?
All anti depressants have a risk of suicide. the reason being (if you didn't know) is because there is a level that people get to where they want to kill themselves but they are too depressed to actually go through with it. the pill brings them up to that level before they are able to get past it.
also, there is a strong feeling of wanting to "go out on top". pharmaceuticals help waaaaaaaaaay more people than they hurt. we also have some of the most strict drug laws on the planet. its not perfect, but no one is.
