Like Obamacare? Just Wait 'Til He Slows The Rise Of The Oceans

On June 3, 2008, Mr. Obama made the following statement during his nomination acceptance speech:

"…I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last best hope on Earth..."

So, 5 and a half years later, maybe it's fair to take a look at how we're doing so far.  In no particular order, here's a quick breakdown…

1.  Good jobs for the jobless:

here's a chart that says it all:

2. Secured our nation, restored our image:

Basically, we're a laughingstock thanks to Mr. Obama's efforts.  Our allies don't trust us, and our adversaries have lost respect for us.

3.  Provided care for the sick:

The magnitude of this disaster is still growing. So far all we've really seen is the tip of the iceberg, the obamacare website.

4.  That only leaves "Rise of the oceans begins to slow"…Given the level of competence we have seen from Mr. Obama on the other items, if he actually has a plan to control the rise of the oceans,  here is a short list of helpful suggestions for dealing with likely results:

And here's a list of helpful books that someone will get around to writing when we start to see the results of Mr. Obamas plans....(You may know of some others......)
