For the Hippie Puncher Who Has Everything

If you have about $1000 for a 3D printer, 20 hours to print a mushroom cloud, plus another $100 for a decent moon globe and some assorted hardware, you can build your very own moon nuker lamp.

During these times of global tumult, this lovely luminaria would make an ideal gift for that hard-to-buy-for misguided pacifist on your list — not to mention an excellent visual aid to introduce that person to a pragmatic plan for world peace.

  1. How about a lunar globe, a clear two liter plastic soft drink bottle, and a propane (or butane) torch--and an LED light?

    2. I'll take that as a compliment. Honestly, I have supped from the government's table on active duty, in the Reserves, and as a grad student who didn't finish his degree.
